This year's Avanto festival is being hosted at five locations
in the centre of Helsinki:
Kiasma, Mannerheiminaukio 2
Kiasma is the main venue of Avanto 2001. There will be screenings
and live performances in the Kiasma Theatre during four days of
the festival. Avanto DJ's will be performing in Café Kiasma
during and after screenings / performances. Brian Eno's installation
Memory Flowers (1999) from the Kiasma collection will also
be on display in the lobby of Kiasma Theatre for the duration
of the festival.

The newly-refurbished Finnish Film Archive cinema is showing the
three Vintage Avanto
screenings.

Friday and Saturday's Avanto Clubs will be held at Gloria, featuring
