"Alec Empire's infernal hardcore techno warmed up the audience once and for all, but as Mr. Empire was one of the main performers of Avanto it would of course have been embarrassing to have him perform for a half-empty house. In addition to hardcore rave techno, Empire dished out generous amounts of chaotic noise and general cacophony from his machines."
