"Two personal highlights were programmes of films by Le Grice and Kurt Kren on
the Friday night. The poetic loops and fragments of Le Grice's early films -- the
best-known of which is the Brian Eno-soundtracked "Berlin Horse" (1970) -- contrasted
strongly with the more intense aesthetic of the Austrian filmmaker, who delivered a
scalpel-sharp deluge of images, including several rigorously deconstructed short films
documenting 1960s Actions by Otto Mühl and Günter Brus."
